The process

The first step included a lot of research and discovery so that we could gather as much information about Junts' possible target audience as we could. We dove deep into how current social media algorithms worked in terms of distributing content to their user bases and what types of user interactions garnered the most engagement.

Teens are a pain in the ass, ya’ know?

Junts is a mobile app for the new generation, as well as all others with a young and vibrant spirit. Cool! What was not cool was that these guy’s attention span is very short.

If we wanted to design it like hell, we had to sweat ourselves a bit. Defining the target audience was easy, really targeting it was not. Scrolling through TikTok and Snapchat-like apps day and night became team’s new hobby.

That sweat however led us to several clear insights about the brand strategy. The most important: To appeal to its natural audience, Junts needed to feel like the most desirable place on earth to be in. The interactions needed to feel sleek and easy.

Hold on, junts!

Seeking a place to broadcast your talents, courage, and ambitions remains one of the strongest aims of millennials, who can also be acknowledged as “highly social animals”. The generation of digital natives is keen to interact, compete and identify through creative content, and is, at the same time, tired of the existing social media.

The CEO of the ex “Betbox”, current Junts, Stefan Godly, had this idea in mind and also some execution of it, but wanted more.
It was about time to come to StanVision.

Standing on the confidence of the company that “the current spectrum of social media does not allow users to speculate on events or personal goals”, we designed Junts to be a engaging, fun, self-aware brand that triggers to speculate, to be suspicious about the world around.

Braking the rules of betting and converting them into a new way of allowed entertainment and socialisation was our streamline during the creation flow.
