Privacy Policy

This site, www.stan.vision, is operated by Stan Vision OOD, a company registered in Bulgaria. Full company details are in our Terms and Conditions.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under GDPR. It applies whenever you use the site, submit a form, subscribe to the newsletter, or chat with our AI assistant.

What personal data we collect

1. Information you provide directly

  • Contact and Start a project forms: name, email address, company name, project details, and anything else you write.
  • Newsletter signup: email address only.
  • Mia, our AI assistant: the messages you type into the chat.

Form submissions are stored in Webflow as backup and forwarded to us by email. Newsletter emails are stored and managed in Mailchimp. Mia conversations are stored as described in the next section.

We do not ask for sensitive data (health, political views, biometric data), and we ask you not to submit it.

2. Usage and analytics data

When you browse the site, we collect non-identifying usage information: browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location based on IP, pages viewed, time on page, click activity, and referring pages. Analytics cookies load only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

Mia, our AI assistant

When you chat with Mia, two things happen with your messages:

  • They are processed by Anthropic. Mia runs on Claude, an AI model built by Anthropic. Your messages are sent to Anthropic so Mia can generate responses.
  • We store the conversation. Chat transcripts are logged in our Cloudflare D1 database and kept for 12 months, after which they are deleted. We review stored conversations to check answer quality and improve how Mia responds.

Do not share confidential, financial, health-related, or otherwise sensitive information in the chat. If you want a conversation deleted earlier than the 12-month window, email us at s@stan.vision.

Tools we use

  • Webflow. Website hosting and form handling. Stores form submissions.
  • Cloudflare. Security, CDN, and performance. Processes IP and traffic data.
  • Cloudflare D1. Database storage for Mia chat transcripts. Holds conversation logs for 12 months.
  • Anthropic (Claude). Powers Mia. Processes the messages you send in the chat to generate responses.
  • Google Analytics 4. Usage insights and performance analytics. Anonymous usage data, loaded only after cookie consent.
  • Hotjar. Behavior analytics and heatmaps. Anonymous interaction data, loaded only after cookie consent.
  • Google Tag Manager. Tag management. Collects no personal data itself.
  • Mailchimp. Newsletter delivery. Stores subscriber email addresses.
  • GSAP, Three.js, Finsweet scripts. Animations and site functionality. No personal data collected.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we do not share it with third-party advertisers.

How we use the information we collect

We use your information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and project requests
  • Answer your questions through Mia and review those conversations for quality
  • Improve website performance and user experience
  • Send newsletters, only if you subscribe
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns
  • Keep the site secure and prevent abuse

We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Data retention

  • Form submissions: up to 24 months, unless needed longer for an ongoing collaboration.
  • Mia chat transcripts: 12 months, then deleted.
  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data: per GA4 and Hotjar default retention settings.

Sharing of information

We share personal data only with the service providers listed above, solely to operate the website and deliver what you asked for. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Cookies

We use cookies for functionality and analytics. The consent banner controls which ones load, and you can manage or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Object to processing
  • Restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent
  • Request data portability
  • File a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, email s@stan.vision. We respond within the timelines GDPR sets, at most 30 days.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the EU. Webflow and Cloudflare operate servers internationally, and Anthropic processes Mia conversations in the United States. In each case we rely on standard GDPR safeguards for the transfer.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but access to stored data is limited and controlled.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its "last updated" date.
